We are Starling, UK University, as a research-led institution, has recognized there is a fundamental need to underpin research performance management with robust data, systems and services to maximize efficiency, quality and impact. So we are looking purchase, implement and support a configurable Research Information System which includes a publications database, which provides an integrated approach to Research Information
The project scope includes but is not limited to the following:
1) To procure and implement an integrated, comprehensive Research Information System INCLUDING a publications database for the University of Stirling.
2) The project will cover the full life-cycle of research
3) All our research staff will have access to the delivered system
4) Meet the detailed functional requirements as listed in Section 5 Functional Requirements
5) Provision of management information to Senior Management, heads of departments, directors of research, etc.
6) Provision of skills transfer and training services on the new solution
7) Supply of support and maintenance services
8) Appropriate levels of documentation to support the ongoing use and development of the system
Interested Vendors are requested to submit tender notice latest by 30th April 2010. This is onshore and offsite work, vendors may need to visit for training and support purpose. For more details Check attachment
