Project Description:
We are New Zealand based companies are looking for skilled service providers for ROI (Registration of Interest) Development of Intranet to reflect the values and information needs of new crown entity.
Scope of Work:
1) Vendors need to required to Create an Information Architecture for the new
Intranet, Create a Graphic Design for the new Intranet; Create Web
Templates and Style Sheets; Consolidate and migrate content from legacy
sites; Build the Intranet, Create a Site Map for the Intranet Document the
server build requirements and process in plain English; and Collaborate
with the NZTA Web Team, IS Infrastructure Team and the NZTA Architecture
Team to ensure that the new system will align with existing systems and
processes where appropriate.
2) Provide good performance to 11 Offices across 25 physical locations
throughout New Zealand;
3) Be built, configured and deployed in a way that provides appropriate levels
of security, specifically regarding authentication, authorisation, protection
and confidentiality;
4) Create templates for adding pages and support their use; Allow the adding
of content using collaborative tools; Allow administrators to alter the look
and feel of pages without alteration of the content;
5) Have good search capability; Create forms � new user forms, surveys,
opinion polls, etc;
6) Create a dynamic staff directory leveraging off existing information;
7) Support instant messaging within the intranet user community;
8) Support the use of forums; Support blogs; RSS feeds;
9) Allow all internal network users to access and use the intranet. This
includes users with special needs;
10) Link to third party applications; Identify new content to users; Support
email notifications when content is added ;Allow users on the NZTA
network to seamlessly access the system through single sign on;
11) Supply information so that reports can be produced including access,
utilisation, housekeeping, maintenance, etc;
12) Log activity on the Intranet e.g. outages, errors, transactional with a
date/time stamp;
13) Provide an archiving function for the site; and
14) Have an established user and support community (preferably in
Wellington, definitely within New Zealand although Australasian would be
considered).
Interested Vendors are requested to contact with ROI (Registration of Interest) latest by 8th Feb 2010 at 10:00 AM, Short listing for RFP will be done on 22nd Feb 2010. This is a offsite and offshore tender. For more details check attachment.
