We are New Zealand based Educational Organisation seeking capable vendors showing Request for Proposal for scanning and marking. Scanning functionality scanning, validation and upload of images and Access to view scanned images and recording of examination results.
Scope of work and details
1) Scanning is required for a large volume of booklets with the subsequent
upload of images within a very short time-frame.
2) Scanned images must be able to be accessed by markers throughout the
country and results recorded for integration to existing systems.
3) All available booklets should be scanned within 48 hours of being received
at the scanning centre.
4) Scanning function is required to provide scanning for up to 18 million page
images within a 2 - 3 week period.
5) Images must be saved at a resolution that enables the marker to view
detail in the image with the same clarity as if they were viewing the physical
booklet.
6) Marking functionality must support up to 2000 concurrent users.
7) Must support accessing of up to 1.8 million image files within a 3 week
period.
8) Must provide for multiple result sets to be held against each booklet file.
9) Must support the nature of New Zealand Exam papers which are text based
student responses in paragraph or workings format (IE. There are no multi
choice or one word answers in any exam paper format).
10) Is expected to allow the Marker to both view the candidate script and apply
the mark for the answer or page on the same presented screen (IE. no
need to move between a page of exam paper and a mark input sheet).
